Sorry... We forgot to mention that we did make it back home on Sunday -- exactly a week after we left.  The trip from Fernley, Nevada, was quick and uneventful.  Breakfast at the motel consisted of mini doughnuts and coffee.  We left about 7:30 in the morning.  After gas stops at Reno, Susanville, and Shingletown, we were home by noon!

 

It’s taking a few days to unpack and reorganize.  Then we plan several day trips for the rest of the summer.
