WILD GOOSE CHASE
Today, we headed west toward the Oregon coast. We had planned to visit family outside Salem first, but they were not available. So we started early on our planned side trip to the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville, Oregon.

LET’S TAKE ANOTHER TRIP...
Before the summer is completely over, we wanted to have one more Harley escape. A five-day jaunt through Oregon seems appropriate.

HOME, SWEET HOME
WE MADE IT HOME TODAY! TRAVELLED 549 MILES IN ONE DAY, AND ARRIVED SAFELY.

BACK TO BEATTY
We were up, packed, and out of the motel by 5:45 am today. If we had waited, we would have taken advantage of their 7:00 am breakfast, and lost almost two hours on the road.
Our planned breakfast stop was in Kingman, Arizona, about 100 miles away. Unfortunately, when we got to our favorite

New Orleans
We wanted to go to Italy this summer. With the state of the economy, the condition of our budget, and the cost of fuel -- this is not an option. Instead, we’re taking another trip on Harley, who gets about 50 miles to the gallon!
We plan to head south to San Antonio, Texas, ride along the Gulf coast toward New Orleans, and see how far we get. (Let’s hope we can avoid hurricanes!)
This trip should cost about 1/4 the price of one round-trip ticket to Italy.
