Before the summer is completely over, we wanted to have one more Harley escape.  A five-day jaunt through Oregon seems appropriate.

Today’s leg took us north from California to Roseburg, Oregon.  We did a little sightseeing along the way (so we wouldn’t be too early for check-in).  After we took care of a few errands in Medford, we continued north and found a neat little restaurant in Canyonville, which is one of those quaint little towns full of local artists and antique stores.  As we sat eating our excellent lunch at Ken’s Sidewalk Cafe, a couple lunched at the next table with their dog (on a leash) and cat (in a backpack).  Cute!

We checked into the Quality Inn in Roseburg and relaxed for the evening.  The room was clean and comfortable, and the Internet hook-up was dependable.  Dinner at Elmer’s across the street was another experience we hope to repeat.  From the homemade rolls to the blackberry cobbler, the food was excellent.

LET’S TAKE ANOTHER TRIP...
